Hello everyone!
Today is my last day to have Facebook and drink soda for the whole summer. Just in case you guys don't know, here is all the info on what I'll be doing this summer.

I'm working for CentriKid camps this summer as a team leader and actor.  CentriKid is a Christian camp operated by Lifeway for kids 3rd-6th grades where our main goal is to lead kids to Christ.
My job includes many different things that I will be doing during the day:
Each morning, during opening worship, I will be acting in a skit (I've already been practicing my pirate voice..I get to be a pirate!).  After that, I will lead a group of fifth graders in Bible study (we're studying Paul! How cool).  At some point during the day, I'll take that group to rec and help lead them in games (me..a rec person...pray about that).  Then after lunch, the kids will go to "tracks."  I am leading two different tracks: drama and dance. In these, I will be teaching kids the basics of drama and dance and how they can be used as worship for the Lord. In the drama track,  I will also be helping them put together a skit to perform for the whole camp. In the dance track, I will be teaching them choreography to Toby Mac's "Funky Jesus Music" and they will perform that in front of the camp.
And my most important job is basically just loving on the kids and sharing Jesus with them.

Oh...and these are the locations I'll be at this summer.

Overwhelmed

Well, I get on a plane to Nashville in less than 48 hours.  I've only been home three days and jetlag is still taking its revenge on me. In the next day and a half, I'm going to be packing, memorizing lines, learning choreography, preparing Bible studies, and structuring track times.   On top of that, my parents are building a new house and will move into it while I'm at camp. So I'm trying to pack my room up a little so my mother doesn't have to and tonight will be the last time I sleep in my bedroom at this house.
Phew. All of this put together is just a bit overwhelming.
Right now, I'm leaning on the theme verse for my summer at Centri-Kid:

"And my God will supply all of your needs according to His riches in Christ Jesus." Phillipians 4:19

So no matter how hectic or crazy things get...like trying to cram everything into a few days of free time...God will supply you with the energy.  I don't believe the old saying "God will never give you more than you can handle," but I sincerely believe that if you commit yourself to following His will, He will give you all the resources to accomplish everything He has set before you.

I'm so excited about the next ten weeks of my life!  Prayers will definitely be appreciated.

Also, in my blogs, I will be posting other prayer requests for people who are out serving Jesus and living life out of the norm.
Zach Martin: France
Joy Bolding: Domincan Republic
Breanna Smith: Oklahoma

If you or someone you know is doing something this summer and could use some prayer, let me know and I'll add them to the list!
